Kimmy Kwong Hong Kong Classical Guitarist
Kimmy Kwong  
 

Kimmy was born in Hong Kong, she began her classical guitar lessons in 1998 and achieved level 8 in guitar of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

In 2000, she had participated in the first China guitar ensemble recording, 'Guitar New Age'.

In 2009, she awarded performer's diploma by the Trinity College of London (ATCL). 

In 2010, she had graduated from Hong Kong Music Institute, majoring in classical guitar performance and she has performed a graduation recital.

In 2011, she awarded performer's diploma by the Trinity College of London (LTCL). 

In 2014, she furthered her study "II Master Classical Guitar Performance" at the University of Alicante in Spain, before and during her studies Kimmy took part in various master classes where she obtained classes with renowned guitarists in the world, Eduardo Fernandez, David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Ignacio Rodes, Paul O'Dette, Hopkinson Smith, Fabio Zanon, Roberto Assell and Shin-Ichi Fukuda among others.

Now, she is actively involved in guitar teaching and music theory in Hong Kong. Besides playing classical music, she likes playing Christian songs and other genre music. By arranging and playing Christian songs, hoping that would share love of the Lord and lead to more people learning the classical guitar.
